Benefits of Medical Peels

Medical Peels help rejuvenate the look and feel of your skin! What are some of the reasons people love this treatment?

What It Is

A medical-grade chemical peel is a procedure used to exfoliate the skin. This helps to remove skin cells, leaving skin fresh and new looking. There are different types of chemical peels, including superficial, medium depth and deep peels. Different medical grade peels accomplish different goals, and make your skin have a bright and tight appearance.

What It Treats

Medical peels are a safe way to treat multiple different skin issues including, fine lines and wrinkles, acne and acne scars, skin laxity and sagging, blotchiness and uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation, freckles, enlarged pores, melasma due to medication or pregnancy, and dead cell and debris build up in pores.

Medical peels help refresh and rejuvenate your skin!

The Treatment Process

Before your procedure begins, your face will be thoroughly cleaned, your hair will be protected, and your eyes will be covered.

If you choose a light medical peel, a solution will be applied to your skin, typically containing glycolic acid or salicylic acid. Once the solution has been on your skin for long enough, a neutralizing wash will be applied to your skin to remove the chemical solution.

If you choose a medium peel, a solution will be applied to your skin containing trichloroacetic acid. The skin will soon begin to whiten, and a cool compress will be applied after a few minutes to soothe the skin.
